Bjarne Bare

Bjarne Bare (b. 1985 Poznań, Poland) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. The artist received an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles (2017) and BFA from the Academy of Fine Art, Oslo (2013). He has had recent solo exhibitions at OSL contemporary, Oslo, Norway; Salonul de proiecte, Bucharest, Romania; Kunstparken, No Moon, Los Angeles, CA and Fondazione Bevialcqua La Masa, Palazzo Tito, Venice, Italy. He has participated in important group exhibitions at Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo, Norway; Lillehammer Kunstmuseum, Lillehammer, Norway and Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Sandvika, Norway. His forthcoming 2023 solo exhibitions include Moral Hazard at OSL contemporary and Risør, at Risør Kunstpark. Bare’s artworks are in permanent collections including the National Museum of Art, Oslo, Norway; Kistefos Museum, Jevnaker, Norway; Wienerberger Contemporary Photography Collection, Vienna, Austria and Ekard Collection, Wassenaar, The Netherlands.
